We have an opening for a full-time Coordinator of Youth, Families, and Schools to provide administrative, production, and event support and coordination for MCA Learning programs. These include school tours and workshops, Family Days, teacher professional development programs, and programs for/by youth, including the Teen Creative Agency. The Coordinator will ensure the smooth organization and operation of all programs and events and serve as key contact person for school tours and workshops, overseeing the tour registration, scheduling, and greeting process. To be successful in this role, you must:
Required qualifications include a BA or BFA in Arts Administration, Art History, Education, Museum Studies or related field or equivalent experience, one to two years of museum experience or other office experience, and:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend availability as required to fulfill responsibilities and for related museum activities, including several Saturdays each year. Ability to operate computers, printers, and telephones and general mobility throughout the building required.
