Job description

In partnership with the National Park Service, monthly beach cleanups for the shorebirds at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. All equipment (gloves, pickers and buckets) are provided by the NPS. A commitment to learn more about the Snowy Plovers and other shorebirds. Assistance at monthly beach cleanups are encouraged. Next events:

  • Friday, June 14, 2019 from 9am-noon
  • Directions: Volunteers meet at Stairwell 17 on the Great Highway,(across from the Beach Chalet) San Francisco CA.

    Wear a hat, sunscreen and weather appropriate clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit sandy or dirty. Bring your own water bottle and gloves to minimize trash. We’ll provide instruction and tools.
